VIDEO: Harris’ ‘Last Person in the Room’ Comment vs. Trump’s Tribute to Fallen 13 Servicemen

August 26 marks the third anniversary of the tragic bombing at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. This devastating event took the lives of 13 Americans and more than 100 Afghans during the Biden administration’s withdrawal from the country.

Looking back on the tragedy, conservatives on X are reminding people that Kamala Harris had no shame in the events that led to the loss of American lives.

Check it out for yourself:

During a CNN interview, she was asked about her role in Joe Biden’s decision to pull out of Afghanistan in 2021. Harris said she had no problem being the last person in the room after that decision. The CNN interview happened about four months before the tragic bombing

I would wager we will see more decisions and callousness like this under Harris’ domain if she wins the presidential race.

Our friends at Fox News share what President Trump said on the matter:

“She bragged that she would be the last person in the room, and she was. She was the last person in the room with Biden when the two of them decided to pull the troops out of Afghanistan,” he said last week in a North Carolina rally. “She had the final vote. She had the final say, and she was all for it.”

Let’s not forget how the Biden Administration handled the aftermath.

The article continues:

The relatives of some of the 13 American service members who were killed appeared on stage at the Republican National Convention last month, saying Biden had never publicly named their loved ones.

This comes in contrast to President Trump’s actions.

AP News shares:

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, laid wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery in honor of three of the slain service members — Sgt. Nicole Gee, Staff Sgt. Darin Hoover and Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss. Later in the day, he was going to Michigan to address the National Guard Association of the United States conference.

Trump posted to Truth Social:

We mustn’t forget these terrible moments from the Biden administration. Share with your friends. Remind them of what’s at stake. And let us not forget the 13 American service members who lost their lives on August 26, 2021.

Here are their faces. Hear from their family members. And weep:
