BREAKING: Ex-Democrat Endorses Trump, Confident “His First Task Will Be To Walk Us Back From The Brink Of War”

To the cheers of an enthusiastic crowd, former Democrat (now Independent) Tulsi Gabbard announced her endorsement of President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.

Gabbard joined Trump at Arlington Cemetery this morning to remember the American servicemen and women who perished in the Kabul airport bombing three years ago.

She also joined Trump at the National Guard Association event in Michigan. This is where she shared her endorsement of Trump.

Having served overseas and as a United States Army Reserve officer, Gabbard expressed how important it was to remember the lives lost and their families. She believes Trump will stand in the gap for the nation and its military.

“I am committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House,” announced Gabbard.

Gabbard said we are closer to the brink of nuclear war than ever before. According to her, Trump’s first task will be to “walk us back from” a terrible situation.

Fox News shares:

“I am proud to stand here before you today, whether you’re a Democrat, a Republican or an Independent,” Gabbard said. “If you love our country, as I do, if you cherish peace and freedom as we do, I invite you to join me in doing all that we can to save our country and elect President Donald J. Trump and send him back to the White House to do the tough work of saving our country and serving the people.”

Gabbard served as the Democratic representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021, but announced her exit from the party in 2022 after denouncing it as an “elitist cabal of warmongers.”

The former Democrat, who ran in the 2019 Democratic presidential primary against Harris, was recently recruited by Trump to help with debate prep ahead of his Sept. 10 face-off against the vice president at the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia.

According to the Washington Times:

She credited Mr. Trump on Monday for keeping the United States out of new wars overseas and working to end U.S. involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as withdrawing troops from other conflict areas.

“He exercised the courage that we expect from our commander in chief in exhausting measures of diplomacy, having the courage to meet with adversaries, dictators, allies and partners alike in the pursuit of peace, seeing war as a last resort,” Ms. Gabbard said.

Gabbard’s endorsement comes on the heels of John F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump over the weekend.
