Did President Trump’s Chances To Win Michigan Just Go Way Up? Judge Issues Devestating Ruling Against Democrats

Of all the “swing states”, Michigan is probably the tightest.

And it’s 15 electoral votes also make it one of the most valuable.

Which is why a Michigan judge’s ruling against Democrats trying to keep Cornel West’s name off the ballot as an Independent is so significant.

And this is great for President Trump.

Why?

Because while I’m no Cornel West fan – and if you’re reading this I doubt you are either, West will take MORE-than-a few-votes from Harris. And in a state which could come down to a percentage point or two, that could be the backbreaker which gives Trump the giant mitten.

Check out Real Clear Politics current polling of Trump vs. Harris (you can probably ignore the Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll):

pollster date
Harris (D)
Trump (R)
spread
RCP Average 7/10 – 8/17 48.6 46.6
Harris+2.0
Rasmussen Reports 8/13 – 8/17 48 47
Harris+1
Fabrizio/Anzalone 8/7 – 8/11 48 48
Tie
InsiderAdvantage 8/6 – 8/8 49 47
Harris+2
NY Times/Siena 8/5 – 8/8 50 46
Harris+4
Cook Political Report 7/26 – 8/2 49 46
Harris+3
Bloomberg/MrnConsult 7/24 – 7/28 53 42
Harris+11
FOX News 7/22 – 7/24 49 49
Tie
The Hill/Emerson 7/22 – 7/23 45 46
Trump+1
PPP (D) 7/10 – 7/11 46 48
Trump+2

So even if West takes just a point or two away from Harris, you’ve got a tied race (according to the polls).

Mix in the benefit RFK Jr.’s endorsement should have on Trump’s vote totals, and Michigan is now very much in play to go red this Novemeber.
