The Chamber Of Commerce Just Exposed Another Tim Walz Lie

Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz has been embroiled in several controversies regarding false and misleading statements he’s made about his own life.

This week, another such claim has been exposed, this time thanks to a source within the Chamber of Commerce.

According to the Daily Wire:

Walz falsely claimed he was the recipient of an award from the chamber during his 2006 congressional run. In a letter, which was uncovered by Alpha News, the then-president of the group, Barry L. Kennedy, urged Walz to remove the inaccuracy.

Current Nebraska Chamber of Commerce Chris Sloan confirmed to The Daily Wire that the letter was sent by the chamber in 2006.

“We researched this matter and can confirm that you have not been the recipient of any award from the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce,” the letter said.

Kennedy asked Walz to remove the language about the award from his campaign website and noted that the chamber had actually endorsed Walz’s opponent.

Although the mainstream media has been circling the wagon around both Harris and Walz, conservative pundits and ordinary Americans are speaking out against their record of falsehoods.

Not only has Walz repeatedly misrepresented things like his military service and the fertility treatments he and his wife used to conceive their children, Reason recently outlined another glaring lie.

The best major media exposé on Walz’s incautious truth telling came from CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski, who revealed that Walz repeatedly lied about his 1995 arrest for drunk driving when he ran for Congress a decade later.

Walz was stopped for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone and admitted to police that he had been drinking. His blood alcohol level was .128.

“But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard,” wrote Kaczynski. “The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night. None of that was true.”

Here’s some additional coverage of Walz’s pattern of stretching or erasing the truth.
