‘Mental Illness Is Real’: Tucker Carlson Highlights Absurd Fact About DNC Protesters

The demonstrators surrounding the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week confirm that even the Harris-Walz campaign isn’t radical enough to suit their far-left agenda.

As commentator Tucker Carlson explained during a recent conversation with guest Vince Coglianese, he noticed one thing that drove home exactly how unhinged he believes many of these leftist agitators have become.

According to the Daily Caller:

“The first thing you notice is they’re all wearing masks outside,” Carlson said. “And I don’t wanna be mean. Mental illness is real. They’re obviously mentally ill, but what’s so interesting is I never see that in my life. Do you ever see anybody wearing masks outside?”

Coglianese told Carlson that he sees people wearing masks outside all the time because he lives near Washington, D.C.

“So there are categories of people, I think, who are just neurotic and who have been misled, especially by the left, and they wear the mask still. Up until this very day,” Coglianese said.

But Joe Biden couldn’t resist championing the cause of the protesters during his late-night speech:

Biden: "The protesters on the street have a point. A lot of people are being killed on both sides."

No, Mr. President. The people outside the DNC who hide their faces while holding up flags of terror groups and calling for "intifada" and "resistance" do not have a point.

The New York Post provided details of the protest in its coverage of the DNC:

Some activists were also heard instructing their comrades not to enter the DNC grounds and to instead head west — but that instruction went mostly unheeded.

“No, we’re going in there,” one protester said.

Before the fencing was struck down, the crowd was heard chanting, “Just like 1968! There’s nothing here to celebrate!”

Others bore signs declaring, “Globalize the Intifada!” and “End all US military aid to Israel.”

Cops eventually pushed many of the protesters back and then cleared Park 578 as at least a handful of rowdy demonstrators were arrested during the clash.

One potty-mouthed protester shouted, “F–k you” to a line of officers before he was taken down to the ground and into custody.
