BREAKING: Joe Biden To Give “Farewell Speech” Tonight and Then Immediately Leave the DNC Convention

This is awfully strange, even for Joe Biden….

Joe is set to give his “Farewell Speech” tonight at the DNC Convention and then immediately leave.

He will not stick around to see Kamala Harris’ nomination speech.

Trouble in paradise?

I thought these two loved each other?

And Kamala DEFINITELY did not participate in ousting him from the race, right?

[Huge Sarcasm Alert]

I guess perhaps they don’t leave each other as much as they try to lie and say they do?

Or perhaps it’s just after Joe’s bedtime and he has to get going?

All completely plausible explanations!

Meanwhile, Joe looks equal parts pissed off and absolutely lost and confused in videos circulating this afternoon:

Wow, he’s shot!

The Independent Online had more details on Biden’s speech:

US President Joe Biden will give a bittersweet farewell address at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Monday, passing the torch to Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee for November’s election.

Less than a month after his stunning withdrawal and Harris’s astonishing ascent, Biden can expect a hero’s send-off from many of the same people who helped push him out due to concerns about his age.

The 81-year-old is expected to say that Harris — America’s first female, Black and South Asian vice president — is the best person to finish the job he started of protecting American democracy from Republican rival Donald Trump.

Harris is set to briefly appear with her boss on stage for his primetime speech in a symbolic moment designed to show unity among Democrats over his succession.
One hangover from his time in office, however, is a huge planned protest in Chicago against the Biden-Harris administration’s support for Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.

Meanwhile, you can’t make this stuff up….while Joe is gone, a U-Haul has been spotted outside the White House:

U-Haul Spotted Outside White House Before Joe Biden Gives His “Farewell Address” Tonight At The DNC

Is Joe Biden about to become “unburdened by what has been?”

I still don’t quite know what that phrase is supposed to mean, but I’m starting to wonder if Joe Biden is going to get the official BOOT tonight once and for all?

He already dropped out of the race, but he’s still claiming to be the President of the United States.

Does that all come to an end soon?

Here’s a picture of a U-Haul spotted outside the White House earlier toay:

Time for Joe and Jill to be hitting the old dusty trail?

Is Kamala giving them the eviction?

We will find out soon enough, but a U-Haul outside your residence is pretty much universal code for “you’re moving”.

And is a flashback to July 21 when Joe Biden officially dropped out of the race for President (but refused to step down AS President):

JOE BIDEN DROPS OUT OF THE RACE

It looks like our reporting nailed this one to a perfect “Tee”.

We told you Joe Biden would be dropping out as early as today (Sunday) and that he would NOT endorse Kamala Harris as his replacement, which would have ordinarily been the most natural thing to do.

Both were just confirmed true.

He made the announcement by letter:

But most notably, what is jumping out to everyone is a distinct lack of endorsement to Kamala Harris — only a “thank you” for the prior years.

Oh my.

He will address the Nation later this week with more details:

BUH-BYE!

He claims he will remain as President so he can focus on finishing out that term.

Interesting.

I am unclear how you can be unfit enough to run for re-election but still fit enough to serve as the current President.

Seems incompatible to me.

Maybe 25th Amendment is incoming too?

Here is a closer look at the letter:

JOSEPH R. BIDEN, JR.

July 21, 2024

My Fellow Americans,

Over the past three and a half years, we have made great progress as a Nation.

Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We’ve made historic investments in rebuilding our Nation, in lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, and in expanding affordable health care to a record number of Americans. We’ve provided critically needed care to a million veterans exposed to toxic substances. Passed the first gun safety law in 30 years. Appointed the first African American woman to the Supreme Court. And passed the most significant climate legislation in the history of the world. America has never been better positioned to lead than we are today.

I know none of this could have been done without you, the American people. Together, we overcame a once in a century pandemic and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We’ve protected and preserved our Democracy. And we’ve revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world.

It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.

I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.

For now, let me express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to see me reelected. I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work. And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me.

I believe today what I always have: that there is nothing America can’t do – when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America.

Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

This is a developing story and we’ll continue to bring you more as we have it.
