Close allies of Donald Trump believe the 45th president is suffering from PTSD.
After surviving an assassination attempt, insiders within Trump’s campaign are claiming Trump has PTSD.
The Daily Mail reported that campaign advisers are urging Trump not to launch name-calling attacks on Kamala Harris but has instead ignored their advice.
The insider’s claims, however, don’t seem to hold weight.
In 2016, when facing Hillary Clinton, Trump gave Hillary the nickname “Crooked Hillary,” and his name-calling antics got him into the White House, so Trump allies who are claiming Trump has PTSD over ignoring their advice not to do any name-calling seem to be a rumor and not factual.

Did you guys think Trump didn't have PTSD? It was the most impossible shot in history. Even a healthy brain can't deal that a brush that close to death. He is not in a place to process feelings, it's going eat him. pic.twitter.com/m8CL7li5Nd

Here’s what The Daily Mail reported:
Donald Trump’s allies fear he has sabotaged his presidential campaign by ‘choosing to lose’ and allege he may be suffering from PTSD after his assassination attempt.
Campaign insiders claim the GOP nominee has been in a ‘self-destructive spiral’ since Joe Biden dropped out of the race and is blatantly ignoring advice from his advisers, Vanity Fair reported.
His campaign advisers have reportedly encouraged him to stop ‘counterproductive’ name calling and instead launch policy attacks against rival Kamala Harris, but he has ‘rejected’ their advice, saying: ‘I know what I’m doing.’
Trump, 78, has also been watching footage of the moment he was shot ‘over and over and over again’, insiders told the magazine, claiming how he has ‘been through a lot’ and ‘may actually legit have PTSD’.
Republican insiders have voiced their concerns as Trump continues to publicly display his defiance.
The ex-president, during his North Carolina rally Wednesday night, made a lackluster effort to address campaign-relevant topics, while repeatedly mentioning an elusive ‘they’ had instructed him to do so.

Per The Independent:
Donald Trump has watched a video clip of the attempt on his life at a Pennsylvania rally “over and over again,” leading to fears that he may be suffering from PTSD, according to a report.
The former president has viewed the “seven-second” clip, in which his right ear was grazed with a bullet, multiple times – an act which has not helped a reported mental spiral brought on by Joe Biden’s decision to drop out of the 2024 race.
ADVERTISEMENT“He’s been watching that seven-second clip of how close he was to getting shot right in the head—over and over and over again,” the Republican close to the campaign told Vanity Fair. “He may actually legit have PTSD.”
A campaign official confirmed that the shooting continues to weigh on Trump, with an official adding: “he’s been through a lot.”
