Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson was arrested at Universal CityWalk in California after an alleged domestic violence incident.

Jackson, who starred in the Disney Channel shows “Jessie” and “Bunk’d” was arrested on Friday after she was allegedly seen by security pushing her boyfriend repeatedly.

The former Disney child star was later arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery.

She was booked and later released on a $20,000 bail.

The former “Jessie” and “Bunk’d” actress was arrested Friday after she was allegedly seen by security pushing her boyfriend during an argument, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies determined that she was the aggressor and arrested her for misdemeanor spousal battery. She was booked and later released.

Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson was recently arrested for alleged domestic battery in Universal City.

TMZ was first to report on the arrest, with their regional law enforcement sources stating that the arrest was spurred by an incident involving Jackson and her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk last week. Jackson is accused of pushing the man in question multiple times, with on-site security intervening and detaining the pair as they awaited the arrival of actual law enforcement officials. While the same report also cites separate sources as stating that both Jackson and her partner “denied” claims of a physical altercation, security footage from the location is said to have shown Jackson pushing the man.

Just last week, Jackson, 22, walked the red carpet at Variety’s 2024 Power of Young Hollywood event at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel. Online jail records list the date of Jackson’s misdemeanor arrest as Aug. 9, notably one day after the event. Total bail amount is listed at $20,000, with Jackson confirmed to have been booked and released on the same day.

Both TMZ and Page Six add that not only did Jackson and her boyfriend push back against allegations of their alleged fight having gotten physical, but they are reported to have said they are engaged with a baby on the way.
