HILARIOUS! Breakdancing Debuts at Olympics, Provides the Laugh You’ve Needed

It’s as if the spirit of Napoleon Dynamite had decided the best way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of it’s film was to create a new a event at the Paris Olympics.

What could go wrong?

You have to see this for yourself:

The girl in the background might be thinking any of the following:

“What am I watching? What’s happened here? Has it really been 20 years since Napoleon Dynamite was released?”

The Hollywood Reporter reports their reporting on this outlandish report (nothing will be serious in this article, it’s the 2024 Paris Olympics for crying out loud):

Breaking (or breakdancing) made its debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and it’s caused quite a stir across social media.

The competition kicked off on Friday with an introduction from the Olympics icon himself, Snoop Dogg. Then B-girls from around the world were the first to take to the international dance floor to show off their moves, as the men’s competition will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10.

It appears some viewers didn’t know what to expect. However, the reactions have not been disappointing, resulting in plenty of viral memes, hilarious commentary and a few standout dancers including Team Australia’s Rachael Gunn, aka Raygun.

Ahead of the first day of competition, actor-rapper Ice-T was among those who took to social media to share their excitement. “Olympic BreakDancing starts Today! 10am Eastern Time… This is gonna blow the minds of people that haven’t seen breaking in a while… INCREDIBLE All Respect to HIPHOP, he wrote.

Yeah, it’ll blow our minds alright.

Even the brand POG (the game that was huge in the early 90’s) wasn’t sure what to think of this. Ha!

I mean, this ‘breakdancer’ has a PHD. But I still am at a loss for words.

Now, I’m not a fan at all of this type of ‘dancing’.

Nor do I think this should be at the Olympics.

Spinning on the ground isn’t a sport.

That being said, here’s a clip of an 8 year old kid who actually knows how to breakdance and it’s quite a feat to behold.

Compared to Rachael Gunn, it’s a night and day difference!

It seems this is more demoralization, more Cultural Marxism.

And we SHOULD laugh at it.

MOCK it into oblivion, because their goal is to get us normalize this and accept it.

The real question is, who did it better?

Rachael or Napoleon Dynamite…
