A plane operated by Brazilian airline VoePass, has crashed in Sao Paulo state.
The plane reportedly had 62 passengers on board, and a search and rescue team is currently looking for survivors.
The Associated Press reported that the VoePass aircraft involved in the fiery crash appeared to stall in mid-air and violently crashed in a residential area.

A plane carrying 62 people that was being operated by the Brazilian airline VoePass crashed in the country’s Sao Paulo state on Friday, reports say.

It was not clear how many people were injured or killed. Fox News Digital has reached out to the airline.
At an event in southern Brazil, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva asked the crowd to stand and observe a minute of silence as he shared the news.

The twin-engine turboprop plane was flying from Cascavel in the southern state of Paraná to the main airport in São Paulo city when it came down in the town of Vinhedo, the Voepass airline said.
Footage circulating on social media showed a plane descending vertically, spiralling as it fell.
The plane was carrying 58 passengers and four crew. Local authorities said there were no survivors.

They said only one home in the local condominium complex had been damaged, while none of the residents were hurt.
