JD Vance Blasts Kamala Harris While Visting Southern Border

Republican Vice President Nominee JD Vance called Kamala Harris a failed border czar while visiting a stretch of the southern border in Arizona.

Vance stated, “It’s unbelievable what we’re letting happen at the southern border, and it’s because Kamala Harris refuses to do her job.”

He added, “They stopped deportations on Day One. They stopped construction of the border wall on Day One. They reinstated catch-and-release and they stopped Remain-in-Mexico, these policies cause real human beings to suffer.”

During his visit to the notorious sector of the border in Cochise County, Vance said Harris has been ineffective at tackling the surge of migrants crossing the border since she took office, claiming all of that will change if he and Donald Trump are elected in November.

“It’s unbelievable what we’re letting happen at the southern border, and it’s because Kamala Harris refuses to do her job,” Vance said.

Vance pointed to high profile crimes conducted by migrants as evidence of Harris’ alleged failure, making his point through his visit of the Tucson border sector.

Per AZ Central:

JD Vance blamed Vice President Kamala Harris as the reason for the nation’s immigration troubles during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Thursday, using an unfinished portion of the border wall as the backdrop to make his case.

Vance notably sidestepped President Joe Biden in taking on Harris, referring to the Biden administration as the “Harris administration” in his remarks now that Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.

“It’s hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes, just how bad the policies of the Kamala Harris administration have been when it comes to the southern border,” Vance said.

Vance toured the U.S.-Mexico border in Cochise County Thursday, going to the heart of a top election issue on his first trip to battleground Arizona as former President Donald Trump’s running mate.
