Anti-Israel Protester Chant “Heil Hitler” During Olympics

Anti-Israel protesters waving Palestinian flags and holding signs that read “Genocide Olympics” reportedly chanted “Heil Hitler” during a recent soccer event that featured Israeli’s soccer team.

As Israel was facing off against Mali in an Olympic match, several pro-Palestine protesters started to chant “Heil Hitler.”

Take a look:

Israel ended up tying Mali in the match 1-1.

Here’s what The Daily Wire reported:

Anti-Israel demonstrators brandishing Palestinian flags and a sign that read “Genocide Olympics” reportedly chanted “Heil Hitler” and did the Nazi salute while the Israeli national anthem was played before the Israeli men’s soccer team played Paraguay at the Paris Olympics on Saturday night.

At the Israeli men’s team’s opening game against Mali, which ended in a 1-1 tie, anti-Israel demonstrators booed during the playing of the Israeli national anthem. The day before, Israel team coach Guy Luzon, was apprised that there would be demonstrations against Israel at the game, and told a press conference, “Bring on the loudest protests. They will make us try harder.”

On Sunday, Nurali Emomali, a judo competitor from Tajikistan, refused to shake hands with his Israeli competitor, Baruch Shmailov, after the match, which Emomali won, allegedly yelling “Allahu Akbar.” In what some observers called “karma,” in the next match against Japan’s Hifumi Abe, Emomali suffered what appeared to be a dislocated left shoulder and was left in tears on the mat.

According to The Times of Israel, Israel’s Olympic athletes received death threats in mid-July.

Per The New York Post:

A group of antisemitic protesters brazenly chanted “Heil Hitler” at the Israeli men’s soccer team as they were set to face off against Paraguay during the Paris Olympics over the weekend.

The group shamelessly made their presence known from the stands by chanting hateful rhetoric and booing the Israeli team as they stood for their national anthem at the Parc des Princes on Saturday night.

Swarms of protesters were seen waving Palestinian flags — with some even performing the Nazi salute during their heinous display of hatred. Multiple people were also seen brandishing a large sign that read “Genocide Olympics.”
