Here’s How Much More Followers Trump Has Compared To Kamala Harris On TikTok

As the mainstream media is touting Kamala Harris’ new TikTok account she still lags far behind Trump in followers.

Harris, who launched her account last week, has garnered 3 million followers, but she still trails behind Trump, who has amassed over 9 million followers.

In the like category, Harris falls behind Trump too.

Harris currently has over 8 million likes on her profile compared to Trump’s 24 million.

Check out what The Daily Caller reported:

Vice President Kamala Harris made a splash when she launched her TikTok account this week, but it still wasn’t enough to shake former President Donald Trump’s sizeable hold on the platform.

Harris launched her TikTok account on Thursday, which has now garnered 3 million followers and over 8 million likes on her profile. Though the numbers are sizeable, Trump’s social media presence significantly surpasses Harris, boasting over 9 million followers and over 24 million likes on his profile since launching his TikTok debut on June 1.

While Trump remains substantially ahead of Harris in terms of current follower counts, the former president also brought in more followers after initially launching his account, growing to 3.5 million in just the first 24 hours, according to Metro.

“Well I’ve heard that I’ve been on the For You page, so I thought I would get on here myself,” Harris said in her first TikTok post. Harris’ page also features her cameo in the hit TV show “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” where she stopped by in the “werk room.”

Here’s what Newsweek reported:

Vice President Kamala Harris has launched a TikTok account, gaining over a million followers within six hours of posting her first video.

Since Harris became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee following President Biden’s announcement that he was pulling out of the election, TikTok has been flooded with content about her.

The clips are broadly framed in a flattering way, including mash-ups of her dancing and moments of her publicly speaking labeled “iconic.” Across the internet, supporters have resurfaced certain clips of Harris speaking and turned them into memes, such as her 2023 quote about her mother asking if young people think they “just fell out of a coconut tree,” her love of Venn diagrams, and her embracing of singer Charli XCX’s suggestion that she embodies the “brat” energy of her latest album.

The first video on Harris’ account, posted Thursday, references her TikTok popularity. Captioned, “Thought it was about time to join!” a voice can be heard saying, “Madam Vice President, are you on TikTok?” Harris replies, “Well, I’ve heard that recently I’ve been on the For You page so I thought I would get on here myself.”
