Before the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, the Secret Service unbelievably denied assistance from local law enforcement to get a drone in the air according to an inside source.
On Thursday night, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) wrote to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Majorkas inquiring about claims made by a whistleblower.
“According to one whistleblower, the night before the rally, U.S. Secret Service repeatedly denied offers from a local law enforcement partner to utilize drone technology to secure the rally,” the letter read.

“This means that the technology was both available to USSS and able to be deployed to secure the site. Secret Service said no.”
He continued by questioning why the Secret Service would turn down the drones and noting they “had the capability not only to identify active shooters but also to help neutralize them.”
For what reason would the group whose sole purpose is to protect the president turn down tools that could potentially save his life?
The level of incompetency shown that day is utterly mindboggling.
Their sole job is to protect President Trump and the USSS completely failed.
Rather than thanking them, the 45th has to thank the shooter’s incompetence and a bit of luck.
The American people should expect more out of the Secret Service — a lot more frankly.
