Hunter Biden DROPS Lawsuit Against Fox News

Hunter Biden has dropped his lawsuit against Fox News.

Three weeks ago, Hunter Biden filed a lawsuit against Fox News, accusing the network of targeting him as “revenge porn.”

Biden’s attorneys claimed Fox News was making “an effort to harass, annoy, alarm, and humiliate him, and tarnish his reputation.”

Biden’s lawsuit was filed after Fox News reported in great detail on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop which contained hundreds of photos of Hunter engaging in sexual acts and doing drugs.

When the lawsuit was initially filed, Fox News stated that Biden’s lawsuit was “entirely politically motivated, and the lawsuit is devoid of merit.”

A person familiar with Hunter Biden’s legal strategy told ABC News that they dropped the suit with the intention of refiling it against new defendants.

The suit was filed three weeks ago over Fox News’ production of a fictional miniseries that attorneys for Hunter Biden called “an effort to harass, annoy, alarm, and humiliate him, and tarnish his reputation.”

The miniseries, called “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” is described by Fox as a mock trial that seeks to show “how a possible Hunter Biden trial might look,” and includes several sexually graphic images of Hunter Biden.

When the litigation was filed, Fox News called it an “entirely politically motivated lawsuit is devoid of merit.”

Per CNN:

Hunter Biden on Sunday abruptly dropped a lawsuit he filed last month against Fox News over the network’s fictionalized miniseries that he alleged included sexually explicit images of him without consent.

Biden dropped the lawsuit just hours after his father, President Joe Biden, announced his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, though it’s not clear if the timing is related.

The decision came less than a monthafter the president’s son sued Fox News, claiming the right-wing network unlawfully published “intimate images” of him in a 2022 miniseries about his legal troubles on the Fox Nation streaming service.
