Suspicious Masked Man Armed with a Gun ARRESTED Near RNC

Not once, but TWICE, yesterday someone attempted to breach the RNC’s security perimeter with a weapon…

The first man was wielding knives and was killed by cops.

We reported on that here:

BREAKING: Cops Shoot, Kill Man Armed With Knives Outside RNC

But, another incident occurred soon after. On Monday around 1 PM, cops arrested a suspicious man just blocks away from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

The 21-year-old was wearing a ski mask and was found to be armed with an AK47 pistol and a full magazine of ammo. He also had a mask depicting the character from the horror movie Scream in his backpack.

And, here's the man's mugshot:

From Fox News:

A man armed with an AK-47 pistol and wearing a ski mask was arrested on Monday just blocks from Fiserv Forum where the Republican National Convention is being held in Milwaukee, a federal law enforcement source confirmed to Fox News.

Homeland Security Investigators and Capitol Police were conducting surveillance near the RNC perimeter when they noticed a suspicious man approaching. He was wearing a ski mask and carrying a tactical bag, Fox News’ source confirmed.

Inside the bag, police found the gun and a full magazine. His intentions were unclear.

Milwaukee Police confirmed the incident to Fox News, saying a 21-year-old man was arrested around 1 p.m. on Monday on the 1200 block of N. 11th Street.

Milwaukee police told several news outlets that the arrest took place on Monday afternoon around 1 p.m. after law enforcement stopped a 21-year-old man wearing a ski mask and carrying a large tactical backpack.

U.S. Capitol Police stopped the individual a few blocks away from the Fiserv Forum where the GOP convention is being held—just outside the event’s screening perimeter for vehicles.

The “suspicious” looking person did not have a concealed carry permit for Wisconsin or any other state.
