President Trump will announce his choice for running mate today at the Republican National Convention.
Two candidates that have been mentioned as possible picks have just been told they are out of the running.
Those two contenders are Marco Rubio and Doug Burgum. According to their campaigns, they have both received calls informing them that they are not Donald Trump’s vice president pick.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum has been informed that he is not former President Donald Trump’s choice to be his vice presidential nominee, according to two sources familiar with the decision.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) has also been told something similar, POLITICO previously reported.
The New York Post confirmed:
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum were told Monday that they will not be former President Donald Trump’s running mate choice, according to multiple reports.
Trump, 78, will announce his selection for the vice presidential slot on Monday at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, he told Fox News this morning.
