New York Times Best-Selling Author Arrested On Child Porn Charges


New York Times bestselling author Brendan DuBois was arrested and charged with several counts of possessing child sexual abuse materials.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Exeter Police Department executed a search warrant of DuBouis’s New Hampshire home and arrested the author for possessing child pornography.

Authorities reported DuBois had “at least 35 visual representations of children under the age of 18 engaging in various sexual acts.”

The arrest came after the Exeter Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce launched an investigation into DuBoius in March.

DuBouis is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail.

Over the years, DuBois has written more than 29 novels and has co-written several with notable author James Patterson.

Brendan DuBois, a best-selling New York Times author who has written books alongside James Patterson, was arrested Wednesday in New Hampshire on child pornography charges.

An investigation was started in March by the Exeter Police Department alongside the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC).

As a result, police later executed a search warrant in Exeter, which is located about an hour north of Boston not far from the New Hampshire seacoast.

DuBois turned himself in to police on Wednesday.

He was charged with six felony Class A complaints of possession of child pornography. DuBois was held for preventative detention after his arrest.

New York Times best-selling author Brendan DuBois was arrested on child porn charges Wednesday after cops in New Hampshire found dozens of sickening images of kids — some only infants — in his possession.

DuBois, who co-authored multiple books with James Patterson, turned himself in to police in Exeter following a four-month-long investigation between the local department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, Seacostonline reported.

The married author, and one-time “Jeopardy!” champ, was charged with six felony counts of possession of child pornography and pleaded not guilty during an arraignment hearing Thursday.
