As major players in the Democratic Party have floated the idea of replacing Joe Biden, Hunter Biden has been in high-level meetings with his father.
NBC News reported Hunter Biden has been in high-level talks with senior White House staff members regarding keeping his father in the 2024 presidential race.
White House insiders reported that Hunter does not usually attend White House events or talk with Senior officials.
Hunter’s presence has left many White House staffers in shock.
The same Hunter Biden who was convicted on felony gun charges, has a long public record of drug abuse, skipped out on child support, and dodged federal income taxes, is now sitting in on senior meetings at the White House.

Hunter Biden has joined meetings with President Joe Biden and his top aides since his father returned to the White House from Camp David, Maryland, on Monday evening, according to four people familiar with the matter.
The president’s son has also been talking to senior White House staff members, these people said.
While he is regularly at the White House residence and events, it is unusual for Hunter Biden to be in and around meetings his father is having with his team, these people said. They said the president’s aides were struck by his presence during their discussions.
A federal jury in Delaware found Hunter Biden guilty last month on gun-related charges. He remains under indictment accused of tax-related felonies, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Shortly after the jury found him guilty, he returned to his home in California.
One of the people familiar with the matter said Hunter Biden has been closely advising his father since the family gathered over the weekend at Camp David after Thursday’s debate. This person said Hunter Biden has “popped into” a couple of meetings and phone calls the president has had with some of his advisers.

Hunter Biden has joined White House meetings with his father Joe Biden and top aides in the wake of the president’s panic-fuelling appearance during last week’s debate against Donald Trump.
The president’s son, who was convicted on gun-related charges in federal court last month, attended meetings with the president and his staff to prepare for Biden’s speech in response to the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity.
Hunter traveled back to the White House with his father after the family’s visit to Camp David over the weekend and then joined a meeting to prepare for the speech, and “he ended up spending time with his dad and his family that night,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed Tuesday.
