Rep. Thomas Massie’s Wife Dies

The wife of Republican lawmaker Thomas Massie of Kentucky has died.

Rep. Massie announced the tragic news on X and wrote: “Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven.”

Massie continued, “Thank you for your prayers for our family in this difficult time.”

The cause of death has been withheld at this time as the family grieves.

The wife of congressman Thomas Massie has died.

Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th congressional district, posted about the death of his wife Rhonda on social media Friday.

“Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven. Thank you for your prayers for our family in this difficult time.”

The Republican Party of Kentucky released this statement to the media about her death:

“The Republican Party of Kentucky is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Rhonda Massie. Rhonda was an amazing mother, wife, and Kentuckian. She touched all who knew her and will be deeply missed. We ask that you join us in praying for Congressman Massie and his family during this difficult time.”

Thomas Massie has not disclosed her cause of death.

Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie is mourning the death of his wife.

Massie posted to his social media pages, sharing the news his wife, Rhonda, died on Thursday.

“Yesterday my high school sweetheart, the love of my life for over 35 years, the loving mother of our 4 children, the smartest kindest woman I ever knew, my beautiful and wise queen forever, Rhonda went to Heaven,” Massie said in the post.

In his emotional post, he shared that Rhonda was the valedictorian at their high school, went to MIT where she received her degree in mechanical engineering and was a devoted mother to their family.

He also shared he, Rhonda and their family spent the last week touring Mt. Rainier.
