‘I’m Sorry Guys’: Watch The Moment CNN Anchor Abruptly Cuts Interview With Trump Spokesperson Short

CNN will be hosting the upcoming debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, leading many Trump supporters to raise concerns about whether the left-leaning network’s moderators will be able to feign objectivity for the duration of the event.

One Trump campaign spokesperson dared to raise such concerns during an interview with one CNN host, which led to the segment reaching a swift and unceremonious early ending.

As The Hill reported:

CNN anchor Kasie Hunt stopped an interview Monday with a top spokesperson for former President Trump’s campaign after she repeatedly attacked two CNN anchors who are slated to host this week’s presidential debate.

Hunt asked Trump national press secretary Karoline Leavitt what Trump “is gonna to do differently on the debate stage this time,” drawing reference to his 2020 clashes with President Biden.

The exchange drew some sharp criticism for Hunt from social media users:

The New York Post provided additional context on the segment:

“That’s why President Trump is knowingly going into a hostile environment on this very network on CNN with debate moderators who have made their opinions about him very well-known over the past eight years in their biased coverage of him,” she said.

Hunt immediately fired back that her colleagues were “professionals” before playing a slew of prepared clips showing the former president’s past comments about what he’s expecting to face from moderators.

When Leavitt tried to speak up and note that she was “stating facts that your colleagues have said in the past,” Hunt repeatedly drowned her out.

“Ma’am, we’re going to stop right there if you’re going to keep attacking my colleagues,” Hunt said. “I would like to talk about Joe Biden and Donald Trump, who you work for.”

“I’m sorry guys … Karoline thank you very much for your time. You’re welcome to come back at any time,” Hunt suddenly declared.

Here’s a clip from the network that seemed to bolster Leavitt’s underlying concerns about one of the debate’s moderators:
