EXPOSED: Inner Workings of Homeland Security Panel

Okay folks, to get you up to speed, America First Legal (AFL) landed a major victory last month by suing the Biden administration.

You see, this win forced them to scrap a panel of so-called “experts” who were allegedly enhancing national security.

And a result of that win, the AFL has dug up some information about the inner workings of the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group.

AFL has been releasing what they’ve found in a series called the “Deep State Diaries.”

These documents show proof how the DHS was aggressively going after Trump supporters.

January 6th was used, as we had suspected, as an excuse to increase their data collecting on patriots.

New documents released by @America1stLegal

show that under the Biden Administration, the federal government used January 6 to justify expanding intelligence collection on Trump supporters, whom they suspected were “Domestic Violent Extremists.” The DHS’ Office of Intelligence and Analysis singled out Christians, conservatives, and Trump supporters in the wake of January 6 as targets to probe for extremism.

The DHS unit pushed far beyond the norms of law enforcement and intelligence gathering to abuse surveillance technology for political purposes using as a pretext the January 6 riot at the Capitol. “Support for this mission has varied and changed after January 6th: 2009-2019, not a lot of support. It does become political,” one intel group member said.

Former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper directed the DHS OIA group to use NSA surveillance technology in unconstitutional ways to spy on suspected domestic extremists.

It seems the info coming out about the Biden Admin’s war against Trump supporters is never-ending…

American First Legal adds:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL) is releasing the second tranche of internal files from the “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group,” obtained exclusively through AFL’s litigation with Ambassador Ric Grenell against the Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This is the second installment of #DeepStateDiaries, a multi-part series of releases including newly obtained documents.

Yesterday, AFL released documents showing how the Deep State’s DHS intel group proposed expanding DHS’s reach into local communities in an “ambiguous” and “non-threatening” way and contemplating ways to get teachers and mothers to report their children.

Under the Brennan-Clapper committee’s approach to national security, when all else fails, DHS should use being “in the military” or “religious” to profile people and tag them as having  “indicators of extremists and terrorism” as a pretext to allow DHS to spy on them. According to the Group, “we should be more worried about these.”
