The Irony Is Off The Chart: Joe Biden Wants To Stop “Elder Abuse”!

Running for re-election at the ripe age of 81 and exhibiting nonstop signs of cognitive decline, Joe Biden has long been described even by some of his harshest critics as the victim of elder abuse.

Whether he wants the power of the presidency or not, it seems clear to almost everyone that he is much better suited for a retirement home than the White House.

That made it all the more ironic when the Biden administration released a proclamation denouncing elder abuse in all its forms.

As reported by the White House, the proclamation states, in part:

Elder abuse comes in many forms.  It can include physical or emotional abuse and neglect, sexual violence, or financial exploitation.  These and other abuses can leave older Americans with scars, both visible and invisible, that impact them for the rest of their lives.  They can happen anywhere — at home, at a care facility, at work, or online.

A number of social media users pointed out the absurdity of the Biden administration releasing such a statement.

Meanwhile, several recent appearances by the president have sparked allegations against first lady Jill Biden and others in his inner circle.

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) offered a similar assessment, as Newsmax recently reported:

Further, Mace told “Prime News” that Biden’s family, namely first lady Jill Biden, should not be “putting him through another vicious election.”

Mace’s comments come amid propaganda from mainstream media about how mentally sharp Biden is, an assertion that defies what many Americans see several times a week. At 81, Biden is the oldest serving U.S. president.

“What is cheap and what is fake is the mainstream media defending Joe Biden, defending his lies, defending what is clearly incoherence,” Mace told guest host Michael Grimm. “We’ve heard him not be able to put words together to make a sentence or formulate a sentence; wandering off on the world stage; shaking hands to no one, hands in midair.

“This is clearly elder abuse, and the media is covering it up. They won’t tell the truth to the American people.”

As one New York Post writer summed it up earlier this year:

“A former Biden aide described Democrats’ dilemma: Taking the nomination away from Biden is like taking the car keys away from your parents,” Axios reported.

Instead, to continue the metaphor, the president’s enablers are knowingly keeping a diminished man in the driver’s seat — which makes him, and the whole world, unsafe.

It’s wanton elder abuse of Biden and, in turn, abuse of our great country.

And here’s how Sky News reported on the matter:
