Biden Makes Disturbing Smile When Asked If Trump Is A Political Prisoner

Joe Biden’s latest press conference went viral because he made a disturbing smile when asked about Trump following his guilty verdict.

The incident occurred when one reporter asked Biden as he left the podium, “Donald Trump refers to himself as a political prisoner and blames you directly. What’s your response to that, sir?”

Biden responded by giving a disturbing smile.

Here’s what Fox News shared:

President Joe Biden took heat Friday for his strange response to a question about his political rival’s historic criminal conviction following remarks from the White House, flashing what some called an “evil” grin.

President Biden, 81, said Friday after former President Donald Trump was found guilty in his New York criminal trial “he’ll be given the opportunity, as he should, to appeal that decision, just like everyone else has that opportunity.” Biden added that it was “reckless, it’s dangerous, it’s irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don’t like the verdict.”

As Biden walked away from the podium, a reporter shouted out a question: Donald Trump refers to himself as a political prisoner and blames you directly. What’s your response to that sir?”

The president paused, turned to the reporters and flashed what some called a “disturbing” smile for almost 10 seconds before walking away, not offering a verbal response.

Per KBTX:

Joe Biden noted pointedly Friday that Donald Trump was found guilty by a unanimous jury, and he slammed the former president’s attempts to cast the case against him as politically motivated as “reckless,” “dangerous” and “irresponsible.”

Reacting a day after the conclusion of Trump’s criminal trial in New York, when Biden’s opponent in November’s election was convicted on all 34 felony charges in a hush money case stemming from the 2016 election, Biden said the outcome meant that the “American principle that no one is above the law was reaffirmed.”

He noted that the jury heard five weeks of evidence before reaching its verdict, and that Trump can appeal the decision just like any other American convicted of a crime. The president also criticized Trump as attempting to undermine important priniciples by suggesting that the case was politically steered by Biden and his administration.

“It’s reckless, it’s dangerous, it’s irresponsible, for anyone to say this is rigged just because they don’t like the verdict,” Biden said. He added, “The justice system should be respected and we should never allow anyone to tear it down.”
