JUST IN: Cruise Line Equips ENTIRE FLEET With Elon Musk’s Starlink


Starlink is quickly gaining a reputation as a reliable, high-speed, mobile internet provider.

The satellite-based internet solution has now been equipped on more than 90 Carnival cruise ships, and customers are reportedly very satisfied with the upgrades.

On Tuesday, Elon Musk’s Starlink and the Carnival Corporation issued a joint announcement via social media:

“Starlink has been installed on 200+ cruise ships around the world, with many more set to come online soon to keep their passengers and crews connected with high-speed internet while on rivers and at sea.”

Watcher Guru shared some of the press statements for the integration:

Carnival Cruise Line boasts more than 90 ships that sail to more than 40 countries across the globe.

Moreover, the company notes that those vessels will now feature the “game-changing, high-speed connectivity” of the SpaceX Starlink.

Additionally, the move was a key part of the company’s strategy to “quadruple its fleetwide bandwidth overall.”

Carnival CEO Josh Weinstein told the media: “Starlink has been a game-changer. We’ve already seen a surge in guest satisfaction.”

Quartz shared this statement from Carnival’s CEO:

[It] “provides our guests with more flexibility to stay connected as they’d like on vacation,” [while allowing] “our crew to stay in touch with friends and loved ones.”
