JUST IN: FBI STAGED Infamous Trump “Crime Scene” Photo

Remember this viral “crime scene” photo, taken by the FBI during their armed raid of Mar-a-Lago in August ’22?

The media had an absolute field day with this photo after the DOJ released it, seemingly as ‘evidence’ of Trump’s purported possession of top secret government documents.

As you can see, the image showed some colored sheets (reportedly representing different levels of classification) on top of some of the files allegedly found in Trump’s private residence.

But, as it turns out, these colored sheets were not originally attached to the alleged classified documents. They are actually PROPS that the FBI put there!

That’s right.

According to new disclosures in Jack Smith’s case against Trump, the FBI tampered with evidence to STAGE the infamous photo in an attempt to smear Trump — and, the DOJ has been LYING about it to us for almost two years!

Jack Smith just admitted the FBI brought colored cover sheets to use as “placeholders” for classified files in boxes containing other items.

The Daily Caller reported on this stunning development:

The FBI brought props to its raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago for classified documents that were pictured in an infamous photo taken at the alleged crime scene, according to court documents.

Jay Bratt, the lead Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutor now assigned to special counsel Jack Smith’s team, admitted in a recent court filing that FBI agents brought cover sheets reading “top secret” to the raid of Mar-a-Lago to use as placeholders in their gathering of classified documents. The classified documents, however, now appear to be out of order following their seizure, both Trump’s defense attorney and the special counsel have admitted, according to court documents first reported by Declassified with Julie Kelly.

The crime scene photo of classified documents allegedly found at Mar-a-Lago, complete with the bright red “classification” cover sheets, went viral in the weeks after the raid. Corporate media outlets breathlessly reported on the photo and the cover sheets as proof that Trump had been storing classified documents at his Florida property.

“[If] the investigative team found a document with classification markings, it removed the document, segregated it, and replaced it with a placeholder sheet. The investigative team used classified cover sheets for that purpose,” Bratt wrote in a recent filing.

This shocking admission certainly explains a lot — like why they don’t want to release the security footage of the raid…

So, if this image was faked, I have to wonder: What else has been ‘doctored’ by the FBI?..

Well, we might soon find out.

The House Judiciary Committee has launched an investigation into the FBI’s manipulation of evidence in the Trump classified documents probe.

From Fox News:

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan is investigating whether evidence seized by the FBI in its raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home as part of special counsel Jack Smith’s classified records case was “altered or manipulated.”

Jordan, R-Ohio, sent a letter to the Office of Professional Responsibility this week after Smith admitted that seized documents are no longer in their original order and sequence.

Smith and federal prosecutors admitted in a court filing on Friday that “there are some boxes where the order of items within that box is not the same as in the associated scans.” The prosecutors had previously told the court that the documents were “in their original, intact form as seized.”

“The Government acknowledges that this is inconsistent with what Government counsel previously understood and represented to the Court,” a footnote in the filing reads.

Jordan, in his letter, said the acknowledgment “presents grave concerns” about the Justice Department’s “commitment to impartial justice, whether the Special Counsel’s Office misled a federal court, whether the Special Counsel’s Office strenuously upheld the ‘highest professional standards’ of the Department of Justice.”
