Trump Sounds Off On ‘Bulls***’ Criminal Charges After Judge Announces Gag Order Violation

Former President Donald Trump is being forced to sit in a Manhattan courtroom instead of campaign for a second term. And he made it clear during a recent rally that he wasn’t too pleased about the situation.

According to The Hill:

Trump spoke to supporters in Freeland, Mich., where he lashed out at length about his legal problems and attacked the judges who have handled his criminal and civil cases in New York. The former president claimed his own indictments were a “badge of honor” as he sought to use the charges against him to rally his base ahead of November’s election.

“Every one of these fake cases is bullshit. Every single one of them. Terrible,” Trump said to roars from the crowd.

“As you know, I’ve come here today from New York City, where I’m being forced to sit for days on end in a kangaroo courtroom with a corrupt and conflicted judge, enduring a Biden sideshow trial at the hands of a Marxist district attorney … who’s taking orders from the Biden administration,” Trump continued.

Of course, Trump hasn’t been shy about voicing his opposition to the charges against him in the past, sounding off via social media on a regular basis.

And he was recently held in contempt by Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the Manhattan case, due to an alleged violation of the gag order imposed against him.

As CNBC reported:

The judge fined Trump the maximum punishment of $1,000 for each of the nine violations, and ordered him to remove all of the posts by 2:15 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The posts were all deleted before 1:30 p.m.

Merchan also explicitly warned Trump that he could be put in jail if he willfully violates court orders again.

“Defendant is hereby warned that the Court will not tolerate continued willful violations of its lawful orders and that if necessary and appropriate under the circumstances, it will impose an incarceratory punishment,” Merchan wrote in his ruling.

Here’s what Trump had to say about the gag order a few days ago:
