‘Looking For Surrogate Parents’: Drew Barrymore Slammed For Begging Kamala Harris To Be Her ‘Momala’

Leftist celebrities fawning over Vice President Kamala Harris is nothing new, but talk show host Drew Barrymore took it to a new level during a recent interview.

Sitting too close to the vice president and gushing over her alleged accomplishments, Barrymore even called on Harris to become America’s mommy.

According to OANN:

During her in-person campaign trip in Atlanta on Monday, Harris often made light of the fact that her stepchildren call her “Momala,” a nickname that Barrymore adopted from the taped encounter.

“I keep thinking in my head that we all need a mom,” Barrymore stated, sitting almost knee-to-knee with the vice president. “I’ve been thinking that we really all need a tremendous hug in the world right now. But in our country, we need you to be the Momala of the country.”

“As a woman who respects so much and wants to share and wants to be confident and has no ounce of meek, that has competitiveness — when we lift each other up, we all rise,” she added. “We need a great protector.”

The exchange drew immediate ridicule on social media:

As Fox News reported:

“Drew Barrymore is gaslighting, NO ONE wants Kamala Harris to be ‘Momala’ for the country,” ACT for America chairman Brigitte Gabriel wrote Monday on X.

“Howard Stern refers to Joe Biden as the ‘Father of the Country.’ Drew Barrymore says Kamala needs to be our ‘Momala’. Who exactly is in a cult? These people aren’t looking for a leader they’re looking for surrogate parents,” Fox News host Will Cain wrote.

Author Oli London described, “Drew Barrymore participates in cringe worthy and fawning display with Kamala Harris.”

Barrymore and Harris also discussed the supposed “straight-up sexism” behind those who mock the vice president’s cackle of a laugh. If you’re not familiar with it, here’s some coverage:
