They say even a stopped clock is right twice a day, and Al Sharpton seemed to prove that adage in a segment of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” this week.
The panel was discussing the destructive anti-Israel protests on college campuses across the nation when Sharpton, who is no stranger to protesting on behalf of leftist causes, offered a fairly direct denunciation of the activists’ tactics.
Al Sharpton (!), on Morning Joe this am: “How do Democrats say January 6 is wrong when you have the same pictures on college campuses?”
Mika Brzezinski: “Good Lord, don’t make a comparison with January 6!”

Former President Donald Trump also compared the campus demonstrations to the actions of protesters on Jan. 6, 2021.
As AP News reported:
“They took over a building. That is a big deal,” Trump said of the Columbia protesters. “And I wonder if what’s going to happen to them will be anything comparable to what happened to J6, because they’re doing a lot of destruction, a lot of damages, a lot of people getting hurt very badly. I wonder if that’s going to be the same kind of treatment they gave J6. Let’s see how that all works out.”
Sharpton’s remarks received a swift rebuke from co-host Mika Brzezinski, but he attracted some praise from unlikely sources on social media:
I truly hate Al Sharpton, so the fact that he’s the voice of reason here truly shows how deranged these “protests” are. https://t.co/itM9RWhcMH

Regardless of one’s stance on the Israel-Hamas war, it’s clear that many of these protests have gotten out of hand.
This is where I get confused.
The encampment folks at UCLA have completely vandalized Royce Hall.
What purpose does that serve? Who are you winning over by defacing property? pic.twitter.com/mgjr87s7ur

As TheBlaze reported, billionaire George Soros seems to have his fingerprints all over these protests:
Just how many millions of dollars Soros has directed to pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and anti-American groups is unclear. These are merely guesstimates because the Open Society Foundations are notoriously opaque.
What is certain, however, is that Soros is not only funding the pro-Hamas and anti-American demonstrations we see on campuses today. He has also been the prime mover behind a decades-long effort culminating with a tsunami of anti-Semitic attacks on Israel and Jews everywhere.
Here’s some coverage of the destruction on display at Columbia University:
