Video footage of a shootout between SWAT officers and a suspect in Charlotte, North Carolina has been posted online.
The shootout was part of a SWAT raid to serve a warrant to the suspect located in the area and left four law enforcement officers dead, including one U.S. Marshal.
Police have confirmed the suspect was also shot and killed by law enforcement officials during the shootout.
Sources say the suspect, Terry Clark Hughes Jr., had a lengthy criminal history.

Daily Mail reports:
Samuel ‘Sam’ Polche, William ‘Alden’ Elliot and Charlotte police officer Joshua Eyer died Monday following the horror shooting as they tried to serve warrant.
Both Polche and Elliot were North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections officers working with the US Marshal’s office.
The US Marshal killed in the attack has not been named.

In the wake of the incident, Fox News provided this statement from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings:
“[I]t’s just been very tough,” Jennings told reporters through tears Tuesday when asked about how Monday’s shootout was different from others his Department has responded to.
“And knowing that you have families that are hurting right now — we’ll get through it, though, very rapidly.”
