One of the top wide receivers from the draft class of 2023 was injured Sunday during a shooting in Sanford, Florida.
While at a nightclub, Tank Dell was simply enjoying the night when a fight broke out.

CNN adds more one the incident:
Police say a fistfight broke out, and a teenager pulled out a handgun and started shooting towards a crowd of people. A security guard standing nearby was able to tackle the suspect and disarm him.
At least 10 people were injured in the shooting and were taken to the hospital. A 16-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident, according to an arrest report.

NBC News adds more to the shooting and comments from the nightclub:
The violence started with an argument, it said, before shots rang out. A security guard working at the venue quickly apprehended a suspect, the office said, and turned him over to two deputies who rushed to the scene.
The venue said the violence took place during a private event. In a statement, it called the attack an “isolated incident.”
“We are cooperating with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and praying for all those involved,” it said.
