Disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein was rushed to the hospital on Saturday and is reportedly in poor condition.
Lawyers for the former film executive say he is suffering from a bevy of health conditions after he was sent back to Rikers Island jail in New York City.
Weinstein’s attorney Arthur Aidala described Weinstein as being a “train wreck” health-wise.
In a surprise turn of events, we previously reported that the former filmmaker recently had one of his rape convictions overturned.

The Associated Press provided this statement from Weinstein’s attorney:
“They examined him and sent him to Bellevue. It seems like he needs a lot of help, physically.
He’s got a lot of problems. He’s getting all kinds of tests. He’s somewhat of a train wreck health wise.”

NBC News explained:
Although the conviction was overturned, Weinstein remained in prison after he was convicted in 2022 in Los Angeles of rape.
He was acquitted of a count of sexual battery in that case. Weinstein has filed a notice to appeal that verdict as well.
