Rep. Nancy Pelosi has called for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign.
In an interview, Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi told RTÉ’s Six One News, “We recognize Israel’s right to protect itself. We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu — terrible. What could be worse than what he has done in response?”.
Pelosi added, “He should resign. He’s ultimately responsible.”
The longtime Democrat lawmaker continued to share Netanyahu has been a major obstacle when it comes to making a two-state solution for Palestine.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign, adding another influential voice to Democratic criticism of the Israeli leader.
ADVERTISEMENTIn an interview published Monday, Rep. Pelosi cited the recent resignation of the intelligence chief of the Israel Defense Forces over failures surrounding the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attack, before pointing the finger back at Netanyahu.

Pelosi made the comments in an interview recorded Monday with Irish broadcaster RTE’s Six One News. She argued that Netanyahu’s response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas has been “terrible.”
