A CNN legal expert just pointed out a HUGE issue in Alvin Bragg’s case against President Trump.
High-profile criminal defense attorney Arthur Aidala told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that there is a glaring flaw in the prosecution’s ‘evidence’ — the lack of President Trump’s signature on key documents.

Although his signature was present on a check, other significant documents in the case were never personally signed by Trump.
According to Aidala, this could cast “reasonable doubt” on the entire case and cause the jury to rule in Trump’s favor.
Aidala also questioned the credibility of the prosecution’s key witnesses in the case.
“You can’t believe Michael Cohen. You can’t believe Stormy Daniels,” he pointed out.
Watch here:
President Trump’s NY trial is now officially underway, with all jurors seated. Opening statements were given and the first witness in the case was called earlier today.
CNN reports:
Prosecutors and Trump’s attorneys delivered opening statements and the first witness – a former National Enquirer publisher – was called Monday in the historic and unprecedented criminal trial of a former president.
Each side got their first chance to lay out a theory of the case for jurors. Prosecutors told jurors that the reimbursement of hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels was part of a larger conspiracy to influence the 2016 presidential election by hiding damaging information about Trump.
The former president’s attorneys responded by telling the jury that Trump was innocent and not involved in the creation of the 34 business records he’s charged with falsifying. They also pointedly added that there’s “nothing wrong with trying to influence an election.”
Trump continued to rail against the case as he entered and left the courtroom. On Tuesday, before the trial resumes, Judge Juan Merchan is holding a hearing on the district attorney’s motion to sanction Trump for violating the judge’s gag order barring discussion of witnesses.
The Daily Caller has more to say about Aidala’s insight on the so-called ‘hush money’ case:
Key documents lacking former President Donald Trump’s signature may pose issues for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case, criminal defense attorney Arthur Aidala told CNN on Monday.
Trump is confronting 34 felony counts for allegedly falsifying business documents relating to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels for her silence regarding an alleged affair ahead of the 2016 election. Aidala noted that Trump’s signature is present on a check while other key documents were never personally signed by the former president, suggesting the possibility a jury could find “reasonable doubt” over Trump’s involvement when compared to former attorney Michael Cohen, a key witness in Bragg’s case.
ADVERTISEMENT“You just have to attack, attack, attack those witnesses and look, what you’ve got to say is Michael Cohen should be a co-defendant,” Aidala told host Anderson Cooper. “If you believe what the prosecutors just said, Michael Cohen should be a co-defendant, not a witness. He has so many reasons to lie, so many reasons to pin this on someone else, to keep himself out of jail, which he was unable to do in the federal case.”
What do you think?
Will this information sway the jury?
