WWIII: Iran And Israel Conflict STAGED?

Is the current conflict between Iran and Israel a piece of theatre?

According to various reports, very little actual damage, if any at all, has been done by either country during their attacks on the other.

This is curious for two arch enemies that despise each other. Everyone watching expected more damage to be done or some clear escalations.

Instead, what we have seen are two bungled attacks and lengthy PR statements from countries that both have a significant amount of military experience.

So what is going on? Truthfully, it is too early to tell. Things are often too difficult to discern through the fog of war.

That being said, I am far from the only one pointing out the inconsistencies in this ongoing conflict.

Clandestine pointed out: “I have no idea what’s going on between Iran and Israel, but it does not look like “war”.

It feels like a PR battle. It feels like both sides trying to exude a strong posture, just to appease their constituents. I’m glad it hasn’t escalated, but this whole thing is weird.”

According to NBC News:

Israel intercepted 99% of the more than 300 projectiles launched by Iran, and is ready for “any further developments and scenarios,” Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said.

Some of the ballistic missiles hit the Nevatim airbase, but they caused only minor infrastructure damage, and the base remained operational, Hagari said.

Iran’s President issued this statement after Israel’s counterattack:

“We are fighting a war of wills, and Iran has won and will continue to achieve victories. ‘The True Promise’ reflected our strength, the iron will of our people, and our unity.

All segments of the people and all political trends agree that Operation ‘True Promise’ has strengthened the strength and ability of the Islamic Republic.”

Many belittled the attacks and jokingly pointed out that the attacks had very little material effect—or, at least, this is what is being widely reported.

CBS News provided the latest update:

Iran’s state media, however, denied any attack on the country’s nuclear facilities and described all sites as “fully safe.”

The U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency also said it could “confirm that there is no damage to Iran’s nuclear sites.”
