President Trump has addressed those watching the so-called “hush money” trial against him. On Tuesday, the former President stated:
“This is a trial that should’ve never been brought. We have a Trump-hating judge, we have a judge who shouldn’t be on this case. He’s totally conflicted. It should’ve been thrown out a long time ago.”

The 45h President went on to mention the scheduling concerns he attempted to resolve during the start of the trial.
According to President Trump: “I can’t go to my son’s graduation, or that I can’t go to the United States Supreme Court.
I’m not in Georgia, Florida, or North Carolina campaigning like I should be. This is about election interference.”

A recent Associated Press poll revealed:
Only about one-third of U.S. adults say Trump did something illegal in the hush money case for which jury selection began Monday, while close to half think he did something illegal in the other three criminal cases pending against him.
And they’re fairly skeptical that Trump is getting a fair shake from the prosecutors in the case — or that the judge and jurors can be impartial in cases involving him.
According to Collin Rugg, “Merchan told Trump that he would be arrested if he disrupts or skips the trial. Merchan said Trump can only skip if there is a good reason.”
NEW: Judge Juan Merchan tells Donald Trump that he could be arrested if he skips his hush money trial in New York, suggests he will have to miss Barron Trump’s high school graduation.

NBC News also provided this update:
The quest to find a jury of 12 people and six alternates got off to a slow start Monday, as more than half of the 96 potential jurors summoned to the Manhattan courtroom said they couldn’t be “fair and impartial” when it comes to Trump, the polarizing New York native and former commander-in-chief.
