Zuckerberg Eclipses Elon Musk…Will It Last?

In a sad turn of events, Mark Zuckerberg has eclipsed Elon Musk regarding wealth.

The latest data indicates that Zuckerberg took the number three spot from Musk on the Forbes Billionaires Index.

The social media mogul’s wealth now stands at $187 billion, compared to Musk’s $181 billion.

However, net worth is constantly shifting, especially for those who own large stakes in publicly traded companies. Stocks change price minute-by-minute.

Musk’s net worth dropped by an estimated $48 billion, due to a sharp decline in Tesla’s stock price.

Zuckerberg may be ahead now, but who knows where he will be six months, one year, or two years from now? Here’s more on the story:

According to Bloomberg:

It’s the first time Zuckerberg has broken into the top three on Bloomberg’s ranking of the richest people since Nov. 16, 2020, when he was worth $105.6 billion and Musk’s fortune was $102.1 billion.

Musk now has a net worth of $180.6 billion; Zuckerberg’s is $186.9 billion.

Rep. Claudia Tenney celebrated Wisconsin’s recent ban on Zuckerberg’s undue influence over U.S. elections. It is estimated that Mark Zuckerberg ‘donated’ a whopping $350 million to influence our elections in 2020.

Earlier this year, Daily Mail reported:

So far in 2024, the 39-year-old’s wealth has risen by $28 billion – more than anyone else, and most of it in the past day after bumper profits for Meta.

His fortune now stands at $170.5 billion.

It has catapulted him above former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and the tech titan’s founder, Bill Gates.
