Biden Campaign Spreads Another Hoax Taking Trump Out-of-Context on Illegal Immigration

Here we go again…

Earlier today, President Trump spoke at a rally in Grand Rapids, MI and claimed he would ensure Laken Riley’s murderer was brought to justice.

Rightfully so, he referred to the young college student’s illegal alien killer as an “animal.”

Here’s the full clip:

Yet, the Biden campaign saw this as an opportunity to spread yet another hoax taking Trump’s words out-of-context.

In an X post, Biden’s campaign shared a carefully-cut portion of the original clip and claimed Trump was calling all illegal immigrants “animals.”

See for yourself:

Is this really the only tactic Democrats have left?

The Post Millennial commented:

President Donald Trump spoke at a rally on Tuesday, saying that he would ensure that there was justice for the “animal” that killed Laken Riley. The suspect is an illegal immigrant.

The Biden campaign cut up the clip, out of context, and spread it across social media with a caption quoting the former president, saying “Trump: Democrats said please don’t call immigrants animals. I said, no, they’re not humans, they’re animals.”

They shared the clip in Spanish as well.

The out of context clip was quickly fact checked on X with a full clip where Trump is shown referring to Jose Ibarra, the illegal immigrant charged in the murder of Laken Riley.

Trump’s speech was given at a rally in Grand Rapids, MI, where he focused on the consequences of Biden’s disastrous border policies, referring to it as “Biden’s border bloodbath.”

More on this, from The Washington Examiner:

Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, will hold a rally in Michigan on Tuesday afternoon in which he is expected to focus on immigration.

Trump will travel to Grand Rapids and speak specifically on what his campaign is calling “Biden’s border bloodbath,” a trip that follows an incident last month in which an illegal immigrant who came across the southern border was arrested on charges of murder.

“Joe Biden’s Violent Criminal Illegals are invading backyards and communities across Michigan resulting in death, destruction, and chaos,” Trump’s campaign website states.

Trump’s visit comes 10 days after Grand Rapids resident Ruby Garcia, 25, was murdered. Her boyfriend, Brandon Ortiz-Vite, a 25-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico, has been arrested as the primary suspect in her death and was arraigned in court last Tuesday. Ortiz-Vite faces charges of felony murder, open murder, carjacking, carrying a concealed weapon, and felony firearm.
