How many incidents are we going to witness at United Airlines before people stop flying United?
United Airlines flight 85 from Tel Aviv to New York was supposed to be yet another routine flight, until ‘severe turbulence’ forced the plane to make an emergency landing in Orange County, New York.
Six of the passengers were transported to the hospital mostly for motion sickness.
However, one passenger is reported to have been hospitalized for a ‘medical incident’ following the incredibly turbulent flight.
I understand that turbulence is something endemic to air flight and that this could have happened to any airline. That being said, why is that airline once again United Airlines? Why is the plane in question a Boeing aircraft?

The New York Post confirmed:
United said the plane, carrying more than 300 passengers, diverted to the New York airport “after reported high winds at Newark.”
According to Nick Sortor: “This comes just a couple weeks after extreme turbulence injured **50** people on another Boeing 787.”
