Some people just get no respect.
Probably because respect is earned, and if you haven’t done anything to earn it, well — you get to where Ronna McDaniel is now.
McDaniel has been taking heat for some time now from Republicans who recently cheered her ousting as RNC chair.
Afterward, she quickly found herself working for NBC News.
But it’s recently been reported that her tenure at NBC may be short-lived.
SCOOP @PuckNews: NBC NEWS plans to drop ex RNC-chair Ronna McDaniel as a paid contributor following on-air revolt from NBC/MSNBC talent. Execs are deliberating over details; announcement pending. Meanwhile, McDaniel is seeking legal representation.

Apparently, there was some heat coming at McDaniel from the leftist talking heads of Rachel Maddow and Chuck Todd.
They took issue with McDaniel’s hiring from the get-go, and because they seemingly call the shots at NBC News, McDaniel will soon be looking for another source of income.

The New York Post has more on McDaniel’s axing:
NBC News plans to drop former Republican National Committee boss Ronna McDaniel as a paid contributor after network stars including MSNBC primetime headliner Rachel Maddow and the co-hosts of “Morning Joe” blasted the decision to bring the Trump-backing politico on board, according to a report.
The network has not made an announcement, but one is pending, according to Puck News.
Earlier on Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal and Variety reported that NBC News executives were meeting to discuss what to do with McDaniel in the face of public opposition from network stars.
According to the Journal, McDaniel was hired by NBC News editorial chief Rebecca Blumenstein.
ADVERTISEMENTThe decision to bring McDaniel aboard was backed by Carrie Budoff Brown, who heads political coverage at NBC News, with Cesar Conde, the chairman of the NBCUniversal News Group, also looped in, the Journal reported.
