Pope Francis SKIPS Longtime Traditional Address, Faces Mounting Revolt

Pope Francis has reportedly skipped the longtime tradition of giving a homily during the Holy Mass at St. Peter’s Square for Palm Sunday.

The ailing Pope was present at the Holy Mass but declined to give a sermon due to his health condition.

At the same time, Pope Francis is facing increased pressure from concerned Catholics who are revolting against him for his woke, globalist rhetoric and policy positions.

Most notably, the Pope has come out in favor of the LGBTQ lobby and has made several troubling remarks against those who refused to take part in a forced genetic experiment.

EWTN Vatican presented this video of the Pope at the Holy Mass on Palm Sunday and explained: “He did not give a homily. He blessed the palm frond and olive branches that were brought by the faithful to the altar.”

According to NBC News:

Francis had been expected to deliver a homily halfway through the service and had pronounced the prayers during the Mass.

But after several seconds of silence, announcers said Francis had decided not to deliver the homily itself.

Vatican officials estimated some 25,000 people attended the Mass, held under a sunny, breezy spring sky.

Pope Francis is facing mounting pressure from traditional Catholics and concerned conservatives who feel that the Pope has abandoned them and betrayed the traditional teachings of the Church.

Newsweek revealed:

Previously in his 11-year tenure as the head of the church, the pontiff has raised eyebrows by suggesting that even atheists could go to heaven and saying that he did not judge homosexuals, as well as taking a softer stance on abortion and remarriage.

Experts who spoke to Newsweek cast these tensions as an ideological clash between those in the church who wish to reform its message and those who want to conserve its traditional teachings, which reflects a broader culture war between liberal and conservative ideals.
