WATCH: The Dark Side Of Nickelodeon REVEALED, Dark Allegations Surface Against Children’s TV Network

Many in my generation grew up watching Nickelodeon almost every day, and no one imagined the horrors that were going on behind the set.

Former child actors of the Children’s TV network have now come out to detail allegations against the network in a documentary titled  “Quiet on the Set.”

The accusations range from inappropriate jokes snuck into what was purportedly children’s programming, to inappropriate relationships and outright sexual assault claims.

Former star Drake Bell, from the early 2000s show “Drake and Josh,” claimed that he was sodomized at the age of 15 by actor and coach Brian Peck.

Amanda Bynes, who starred on the network in a variety of roles, also reportedly had a secret Twitter account where she was leaking the horrible things that had happened at Nickelodeon during the 1990s and early 2000s era.

Why do allegations like this continue to surface in Hollywood? It seems like we see allegations like this pretty much every single day in the entertainment industry.

Here are just some of the allegations former Nickelodeon child stars have made regarding their time at the network:

According to Breitbart, Peck groomed Drake Bell before the abuse began:

Bell said he believes that Peck had gotten “a sense that my dad was on the watch,” and therefore “started to really drive a wedge” between the child actor and his father — which turned out to be a successful endeavor.

Peck made Bell believe that his father was “horrible for my career,” and that he “wasn’t going to be able to move forward with him in it,” the Drake & Josh star said.

After that, Peck “very quickly” put himself “in the position of what my dad was doing my whole life,” Bell added.

“Brian would come and pick me up from auditions” and “I would end up staying the night,” Bell said, adding that Peck “had pretty much worked his way into every aspect of my life.”

Green Lives Matter asked: “Dan Schneider says that every one of his jokes was written for children at the time and that children thought they were funny after Drake Bell’s devastating testimony of being sodomized under the employment of Nickelodeon.

The magnifying glass has been put on Hollywood’s treatment of children. Let’s look at the tape and you be the judge. Appropriate?”

Daily Mail provided this update and revealed that Peck is still working with children:

Perhaps most disturbingly, he is only prohibited from direct contact with children, not from being part of productions in which children are acting – meaning that since being convicted he has worked on a Disney show and a horror movie set in a high school.
