On a day that much of the United States is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, the police departments in Trenton, New Jersey and Levittown, Pennsylvania were working overtime to diffuse a dangerous situation on Saturday morning.
The situation, which cancelled a parade in Bucks County, Philadelphia, began with three people shot and killed, leading the suspect to flee in a hijacked vehicle.

USA Today News has more on the suspect and the timeline of the event:
A suspect was identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon. Police said Gordon shot and killed two people on Viewpoint Lane before driving a stolen car to nearby Edgewood Lane, where a he shot and killed another person there.
Less than 15 minutes later, he allegedly carjacked a vehicle at a Dollar General in Morrisville, but the driver was unharmed, police said.
“It is believed that Gordon knew all of the victims (except the victim of the carjacking),” police said in a release.
Police said they found the car Gordon was last seen driving in Trenton, New Jersey, unoccupied. Gordon was not in custody as of 12:35 p.m., and authorities were not releasing details of his suspected whereabouts as the investigation remains active.

Unfortunately, this forced Bucks County to issue at shelter-in-place alert at 9:30 am, which was then lifted around 12:40 pm.

After fleeing the scene, the suspect was seen fleeing to Trenton, New Jersey.

A short time later, authorities confirmed that Honda was found unoccupied in Trenton and that SWAT teams were converging on a nearby home to search for Gordon.
Police say Gordon has since barricaded himself inside a home on the 100 block of Miller Street in Trenton. Authorities say they received information that Gordon may have taken multiple people hostage inside.

Unfortunately, the situation has not yet been resolved, with the suspect currently barricaded in a house in Trenton, along with an unverified amount of hostages.
