ABC News reports:
A United Airlines jetliner headed to Mexico City from San Francisco made an emergency landing in Los Angeles on Friday after the crew reported a hydraulics issue, in the fourth emergency involving a United Airlines flight this week.
The plane landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport around 4:30 p.m. and none of the 110 people on board were injured, United Airlines said in a statement.
Fire engines stood by at the airport but weren’t needed, said Nicholas Prange, a spokesperson with the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
The airline said passengers can travel to Mexico on another plane expected to depart later Friday.
United said the Airbus A320 has three hydraulic systems for redundancy purposes.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it will investigate the emergency landing.
As mentioned, United Airlines has suffered a brutal week filled with emergencies.
First, a United Airlines’ Boeing plane made an emergency landing in Texas minutes into its flight after flames erupted from one of the engines.
Dramatic footage showed flames bursting from the engine shortly after takeoff from Houston.
The airplane’s engine reportedly ingested bubble wrap, the airline said.

Also, a United Airlines Boeing 777 lost a tire shortly after taking off from San Francisco International Airport.
The Japan-bound plane was diverted to Los Angeles International Airport.
“At approximately 11:35 a.m., United Flight 35 departing to Osaka lost a portion of landing gear tire during takeoff,” a United representative said, according to ABC 7.
The falling landing gear from the United flight damaged multiple vehicles in the San Francisco International Airport parking lot.
