Rep. Boebert and State Republican’s Push for RECALL of Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold After Her Embarrassing SCOTUS Defeat

After being humiliated by the Supreme Court, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, was met recently with the threat of a recall for her part in trying to kick President Trump off the Colorado ballot.

Rep. Lauren Boebert and other state Republican leaders issued Griswold a letter of intent publicly to initiate a recall effort for Griswold’s failed attempt to interfere with the 2024 presidential election.

The recent SCOTUS ruling was an embarrassment for Griswold and other Colorado state officials who supported the move.

Trump supporters were pleased to see that Griswold’s attempt to illegally force him off the ballot in Colorado won’t go unnoticed.

Soon after the recent SCOTUS ruling indicating Trump cannot be removed from the Colorado state ballot, Jena Griswold gave a crazy interview with MSNBC where she appeared to tear up as she claimed, “It will be up to American voters to save our democracy.”

After trying to forcibly remove someone she doesn’t like from the ballot.

The Hill has more on the recall effort:

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) and a group of Colorado Republicans threatened Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D) with a recall effort after the Supreme Court shut down the state’s attempt to bar former President Trump from the primary ballot.

A letter from Boebert and the other Republicans says Griswold “failed” when the high court ruled against the state, “creating a stain on our Republic and an outright embarrassment to Coloradans and Americans.”

“Instead of fulfilling her oath of office to encourage Coloradans to make their voices heard, she abused her office for selfish political decision to rig the primary election against President Donald J. Trump,” Boebert wrote.

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that Colorado can’t remove Trump from the ballot under the 14th Amendment’s insurrection clause, saying states don’t have the authority to do so. The Colorado Supreme Court argued Trump should be disqualified because of his involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riots.
