‘Squad’ member Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was filmed on Monday being harassed by Pro-Palestine protestors that demanded she call the Israel-Hamas war a ‘genocide.’
AOC was seen leaving the Alamo Drafthouse theater, where protestors were recording her and her fiance.
During the confrontation, AOC pleads with the crowd and even agrees with their points.

The folks at Fox News share more:
A group of pro-Palestinian protesters on Monday accosted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her fiancé outside a movie theater in Brooklyn and demanded that she call Israel’s offensive in Gaza a “genocide.”
Video obtained by Fox News Digital shows the protesters, phones in hand, approaching the congresswoman outside the Alamo Drafthouse.
“You refuse to call it a genocide,” one of the protesters can be heard saying, to which Ocasio-Cortez fires back: “I need you to understand that this is not okay.”
“It’s not okay that there’s a genocide happening and you’re not actively against it,” the protester says.
“You’re lying!” Ocasio-Cortez shouts back.
The video shows the protesters following her down the escalator, continually berating her for not labeling the war a “genocide.”
“If you can’t say it, just say it. Literally. We’re just talking to you like normal people. Just say it’s a genocide. Just say it. Over 30,000 people are dead AOC, you can’t just say it for once?” another protester shouts, citing figures from the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza. “Just say the word, that’s it. That’s all we want you to say.”
Seeing this clip almost makes me feel bad for AOC and her fiance.
However, this is exactly what she signed up for and has even encouraged people from her party to do:
“The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable. Activists take that discomfort w/the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes…To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable…that’s the point.” -Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on January 20, 2020 https://t.co/3VbPFroMEq

This is the consequence of siding your party with highly emotional and reactionary individuals.
Democrats are eating themselves to death over the Israel-Hamas conflict.
They don’t know what to do!
The New York Post shares more:
The video ended as the protesters continued to berate Ocasio-Cortez while she walked ahead with Roberts.
The Post has sought comment from the congresswoman’s office and her campaign.
ADVERTISEMENTOcasio-Cortez did not directly call Israel’s military action a genocide during a “Meet the Press” interview in late January as she sidestepped a question about whether using the term was going overboard.
“Some of your colleagues have accused the president of supporting genocide, including [Rep.] Rashida Tlaib [D-Mich.]. Do you agree with that word, ‘genocide,’ that the president’s been supporting a genocide, or does that go too far?” host Kristen Welker asked her during the interview.
Ocasio-Cortez replied that young people throughout the country were “appalled at the violence and the indiscriminate loss of life.” She cited a recent United Nations International Court of Justice decision that stated Israel has a responsibility to prevent a genocide.
“They are still determining whether it’s a genocide. Do you think that term is responsible given it’s still under investigation?” Welker pressed.
“I believe that they are. They’re still determining it. But in the interim ruling, the fact that they said there’s a responsibility to prevent it, the fact that this word is even in play, the fact that this word is even in our discourse, I think, demonstrates the mass inhumanity that Gazans are facing,” the congresswoman replied.
What do you guys think?
Do you feel bad for AOC, or did she have this coming?
