FBI agents on Thursday raided the home of Winnie Greco, a top aide to New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
The FBI searched two Bronx addresses, which records show are owned by Greco.
Greco, a former fundraiser for Adams now serving as his director of Asian affairs, is reportedly under investigation for allegedly using her position for perks.

THE CITY reports that the FBI also searched the offices of a Queens mall that hosted Adams campaign operations.
“Mayor Eric Adams’ aide, Winnie Greco, has been the subject of multiple investigations by THE CITY exposing questionable fundraising practices and allegations of unethical conduct,” the outlet wrote.

THE CITY reports:
The aide, Adams’ director of Asian affairs Winnie Greco, was deeply involved in eight separate fundraising events at the New World Mall that generated tens of thousands of dollars for Adams’ 2021 mayoral campaign.
She is on leave from her job, the Mayor’s press office announced Thursday. Greco is the third person associated with Adams whose home was raided by federal officials in the past four months. In November, the FBI raided the homes of Brianna Suggs, then Adams’ chief fundraiser, and Rana Abbasova, an aide in Adams’ international affairs office.
One New World Mall worker told THE CITY that she was asked by employers to make a $249 donation — and later reimbursed. That would make it a “straw” donation, a criminal violation that has already led to the prosecution of one set of Adams fundraisers by the Manhattan District Attorney, as well as a separate investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s office into another set of donors with links to the Turkish government.
Another New World Mall employee told THE CITY she never made out a check to the campaign and didn’t recognize the signature on the check. Nearly two dozen others who donated claimed that they made their contributions at the behest of or with encouragement from mall managers.

City Hall told the New York Post that “no federal law enforcement official has contacted the administration about anything related to Winnie Greco.”
“Our administration will always follow the law, and we always expect all our employees to adhere to the strictest ethical guidelines. As we have repeatedly said, we don’t comment on matters that are under review, but will fully cooperate with any review underway. The mayor has not been accused of any wrongdoing,” a City Hall spokesperson said in a statement to multiple news outlets.

From the New York Post:
Greco, 61, Adam’s $100,000-a-year director of Asian affairs, came under scrutiny late last year when The City first reported she was under DOI probe over claims that she promised a campaign volunteer a job in the Adams administration if he performed work on her kitchen early in 2022. She also allegedly reached out to a prominent Chinese business exec to make a $10,000 donation to attend a Chinese-focused event held by the mayor at Gracie Mansion.
Greco’s affiliation with Adams dates to his days as Brooklyn borough president when she worked as a volunteer fundraiser and Chinese community liaison, once helping to arrange Adams’ trip to China.
She is the second top Adams aide to face scrutiny in the past year.
In November, the FBI raided the Brooklyn home of Brianna Suggs, a top fundraiser for the mayor who was allegedly implicated in a kickback scheme involving the Turkish government.
Adams told The Post at the time that Suggs continued to do “administrative work” for his campaign following the federal raid.
