Zelenskyy Invites Trump To Front Lines: ‘I’m Ready Even To Go With Him’

So, the President of Ukraine wants to give Trump a tour of Ukraine.

Take him around the front lines.

Show him all the destruction.

Why?

Another ploy to get more money?

If he can tug on Trump’s heartstrings then Trump might recommend that the Republicans that are standing in Zelenskyy’s way should stand down?

First off, Trump isn’t an idiot.

If we know Ukraine is a money scam, Trump obviously knows.

Second, why would Trump waste his time with Zelenskyy?

And third, Zelenskyy can’t be that dumb either to think that Trump would go out there.

So is this just another attempt to paint Trump in a bad light? When he declines they can say he’s scared?

I’m sure Trump will have the perfect retort for this guy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited former President Donald Trump to tour the front lines of his country’s war against Russia.

The Ukrainian leader appeared recently at the Munich Security Conference alongside Vice President Kamala Harris as the war in Ukraine nears its second anniversary later this month. Zelenskyy extended the GOP frontrunner an invitation to visit the war-torn nation.

“If Mr. Trump will come, I am ready even to go with him to the front line,” Zelenskyy said on Saturday where his comments were met by applause.

He added, “I think if we are in dialogue how to finish the war, we have to demonstrate people who are decision-makers, what does it mean — the real war. Not on Instagram — the real war.”

Zelenskyy claimed he has offered this invitation to Trump in the past but that the visit’s success depended on the former president accepting it.

“I invited him publicly but it depends on his wishes,” Zelenskyy concluded. He also encouraged leading candidates from both political parties to visit Ukraine.

The call comes amid concerns about wavering support among Republicans for the war effort.

The Ukrainian president, who spoke at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, warned that a lack of long-range weapons is limiting the country’s fightback against Vladimir Putin’s forces.

“Keeping Ukraine in the artificial deficits of weapons, particularly in deficit of artillery and long range capabilities allows Putin to adapt to the current intensity of the war,” he told those attending.

Mr Zelensky used the conference to urge the West to continue to back the Ukrainian armed forces, as the two-year anniversary of the invasion approaches.

But Republicans aligned to former president Donald Trump have been vocal in expressing scepticism about funding for the fight in eastern Europe.

British Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron, who is also at the conference, has been among the European leaders urging US politicians to back a multibillion-dollar foreign aid package making its way through Congress.

The bill has passed through the Senate but faces a deeply uncertain future in the House of Representatives, where hardline Republicans aligned with Mr Trump oppose the legislation.

Mr Zelensky said that he was willing to show Mr Trump the “real” war.
