Trump Reveals Why There’s ‘No Way’ Taylor Swift Will Endorse Biden

There was some speculation ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl that pop star Taylor Swift would use the event to announce her endorsement of President Joe Biden.

She supported him in 2020, even posing with a plate of pro-Biden cookies ahead of that year’s general election.

This time around, however, GOP presidential primary front-runner Donald Trump doesn’t think Swift will be throwing her weight behind his presumptive rival.

As the Daily Wire reported:

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will,” Trump said.

Trump quipped that there was “no way” Swift could endorse Biden, whom he described as corrupt, “and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.” He added, “Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”

Some in Trump’s “MAGA” camp have speculated that Swift got into a relationship with Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, as part of a political scheme or “op” in which the music star might endorse Biden during the Super Bowl or in the months that follow.

A growing number of people who backed Biden four years ago are having second thoughts based on the 81-year-old incumbent’s record of failure and obvious evidence of cognitive decline.

Biden’s record is so bad that Trump and his top advisers don’t think even a Swift endorsement, if one actually does materialize, will be enough to secure his re-election.

According to Rolling Stone:

Behind the scenes, Trump has reacted to the possibility of Biden and Swift teaming up against him this year not with alarm, but with an instant projection of ego. In recent weeks, the former president has told people in his orbit that no amount of A-list celebrity endorsements will save Biden. Trump has also privately claimed that he is “more popular” than Swift and that he has more committed fans than she does, a person close to Trump and another source with knowledge of the matter tell Rolling Stone.

Last month, the source close to Trump adds, the ex-president commented to some confidants that it “obviously” made no sense that he was not named Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year — an honor that went to none other than Swift in December.

In an email to Rolling Stone, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller shrugged off the prospect of a Swift endorsement for Trump’s rival. “Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,’” Miller wrote.
