O.J. Simpson Diagnosed With Cancer?

According to Miami’s Local 10 News, former NFL star O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife and her friend, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Sources reportedly told the outlet Simpson was diagnosed with prostate cancer and is receiving chemotherapy in Las Vegas.

Simpson, 76, addressed rumors that he’s in hospice care.

“I’m not in any hospice. I don’t know who put that out there,” Simpson said.

“I’m hosting a ton of friends for the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas,” he added.

Simpson was discharged from parole on Dec. 1, 2021, after his conviction in Las Vegas for armed robbery.

Simpson had told parole officials before his Oct. 1, 2017, release from prison that he planned to move back to Florida.

He instead moved to a gated community in Las Vegas, where he played golf and frequently took to Twitter to offer opinions about college and pro sports, especially football.

“Life is fine,” he told The Associated Press during a June 2019 interview.

Simpson’s saga makes him, in the words of one of his Las Vegas trial lawyers, one of the most famous people on the planet.

According to the New York Post, it’s unclear if this alleged cancer diagnosis is related to “the cancer battle he divulged in a May 2023 video.”

Simpson has been spotted in Sin City in recent weeks, looking frail and appearing to limp in photos obtained by The Post in November.

The ex-Bills great, also known for his acquittal in the 1995 murder case of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, denied rumors he’s in hospice with a video posted to X on Friday.

Daily Mail added:

Earlier this year, Simpson was pictured on a couple of occasions looking frail as he made his way around Las Vegas, where he now lives.

Simpson reportedly used a cane while he was serving a prison sentence for stealing sports memorabilia.

He also hit the headlines earlier this week when he made a shock joke about refusing to confess in a recent podcast appearance, while discussing if men should open up to women.

Simpson was a guest on the ‘It Is What It Is Talk’ podcast, hosted by American rappers Cam’ron and Mase, where they responded a quote by Shaquille O’Neal saying men shouldn’t open to women because it could be used against them.
